All four have taken on the role of Family Office portfolio managers, as detailed by Felipe Marín, Managing Director of Ventum, in a statement to Funds Society.

"Each of the individuals joining us comes with the role of contributing and deepening our service verticals," he explains, adding that the position involves managing the families they work with. "They ensure that the experience of having a Family Office is as the family envisioned it—or even better," he adds.

The New Faces

On the Chilean side, Caussade comes from the local insurer Vida Security, where she spent nearly four years and held the position of variable income trading desk operator. Vicuña, on the other hand, spent the past year pursuing an MBA in Spain at IE Business School, according to his LinkedIn profile, after working for almost four years at Consorcio as a financial advisor.

In Europe, Montero worked for four and a half years at Banco Falabella Chile, where he reached the position of Head of Use of Payment Methods, while Antoñanzas has experience as a corporate lawyer, having worked at Pérez-Llorca and Guerrero Olivos law firms. Both Montero and Antoñanzas completed the same MBA program as Vicuña, according to their professional profiles.

"They are highly qualified professionals who have worked in different companies and industries, which allows us to continue strengthening a highly personalized and holistic service," says the Managing Director of Ventum.

Developing the Family Office Area

For Marín, strengthening the multi-family office team is aimed at further developing its family wealth management service by sharing its capabilities and expertise.

"Today, our focus is on developing and implementing Family Offices for families taking that path, as well as supporting and strengthening existing Family Offices," says the executive.

In this regard, he emphasizes the importance of investing in personnel: "We believe that investing in talent with complementary skills in different geographical locations is essential so that families know that at Ventum Group, they will find a team with the experience and capabilities to handle all the challenges of a Family Office."
